# How to Make It:
- Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan. Add cold water to cover eggs by at least 1 inch.
- Optionally, add 1 teaspoon salt to water to help prevent cracking and ease peeling.
- Set the pan over medium-high heat and bring the water to a rolling boil.
- Once boiling, cover the pan with a lid and immediately remove it from heat.
- Let eggs sit, covered, for 10 minutes for slightly creamy yolks or 12 minutes for fully set yolks.
- While eggs rest, prepare a large bowl filled with ice water.
- Transfer eggs with a slotted spoon to the ice water bath and cool for at least 5 minutes.
- Gently crack and peel eggs under running cold water for easiest shell removal.
